In Arabic, sukūn means stillness, rest, and calm. In Arabic grammar, it refers to the absence of a vowel — a still, silent letter. A pause in the middle of sound. The root س-ك-ن carries meanings tied to tranquility, dwelling, home, and resting place.
To us, Sukūn is a spiritual pause from the noise of everyday life. A soft, grounded breath. A space of stillness, rest, and presence. The ritual of coffee has always held that feeling, and Sukūn is our way of sharing it.
