Fall 2026 pilot cohort

A season in good company.

Open-Book Club is an intentional community experience bringing together a small group of people to explore connection, creativity and belonging.

Applications open

Join Open-Book Club.

From fall 2026 through early January 2027, our pilot cohort will connect through food, art, nature, movement and shared experiences. We are building a community, not simply organizing events.

Approximately 5–8 minutes.

Open-Book Club is supported by the Sprout Ideas Fellowship, delivered by TakingITGlobal, with support from the Government of Canada's Canada Service Corps program.

Welcome to Open-Book Club

What if meaningful connections began with simply showing up?

Our calendar will feature a mix of casual, low-pressure gatherings and thoughtfully curated experiences, including art workshops, shared meals and outdoor activities.

Accessibility is one of our core values. We will offer a combination of free and paid activities, with sliding-scale options available to help remove financial barriers to participation. All proceeds from paid activities will be reinvested into the program to support future experiences and keep our community welcoming and accessible.

What does joining mean?

We are building a community.

Members are expected to actively engage in our group chat, attend gatherings and activities when possible, build relationships and contribute to the overall experience. You do not need to attend every event or be constantly available. We are simply asking for a genuine commitment to showing up, connecting and participating throughout the season.
