Coffee has long carried more than taste. In Arab traditions, qahwa is tied to welcome, pause, conversation, and the care of receiving others.
While coffee is widely believed to have originated in Ethiopia, it took root in Yemen, where it became part of social, spiritual, and hospitality traditions before spreading across the wider region.
That spirit stays close to us: drinks as invitation, atmosphere, and a way of making people feel held.
